noft Diagnostic Messages
*** SYNTAX ERROR *** [3038]:
Specified range not within a text section.
Cause. noft cannot find the specified addresses in the object file.
Recovery. Ensure that the addresses exist in the object file. Rebuild the object file
with complete symbols information.
*** SYNTAX ERROR *** [3039]:
The CD command is not for the Guardian OS, try the SYSTEM and
VOLUME commands.
Cause. The CD command works only in the OSS environment.
Recovery. In the Guardian environment, use
*** SYNTAX ERROR *** [3040]:
The SYSTEM command is for the Guardian OS only, try the CD
command.
Cause. The CD command works only in the OSS environment.
Recovery. In the Guardian environment, use
*** SYNTAX ERROR *** [3041]:
The VOLUME command is for the Guardian OS only, try the CD
command.
Cause. The VOLUME command works only in the Guardian environment.
Recovery. In the OSS environment, use
*** SYNTAX ERROR *** [3042]:
Unable to allocate memory to table
Cause. noft cannot allocate memory, probably because noft has an internal
problem.
Recovery. Give the object file being examined and the series of commands that you
used to your service provider for analysis.
