Use the • • buttons to select the desired item.
Then pre_ the RIGHT or ENTER button.

With the unit in Stop mode, press the MENU hut-
toll on tile remote.
You can't use the Setup functions during playback.
Select Setup using • • buttons, then press tile
or ENTER button.
Select Video using • • hnttons, then press tile
or ENTER hutton.
Video option menu will he displayed.
Select the sub menu nsmg• • huttons, then press
the I_ or ENTERhutton.

This function depends on disc type. It may not ;york for
some disc types.

• 4:3 Letter Box : Select when yon want to see the
total 16:9 ratio screen DVD supplies, ::#i{
even though yon haxe a TV with a

4:3 ratio screen. Black bars ;','ill
appear at tile top and bottom of the :
screen.
• 4:3 Pan - Scan : Select this for conventional size TV
when you want to see the central
portion of tile 16:9 screen. (Extreme
left and right side of movie picture
will be cut off.)
• 16:9 \Vide : "xbu call view the full 16:9 picture on

Black Level
Adjusts the hrightnea_; of the screen.
• 0 IRE : This is tile standard NTSC reference
hlack level for consistent bright-
nea_,/contrast across all sources.
• 7.5 IRE : This ;;'ill enhance the black level for
incn'ased brightnesMcontrast when
viewing DVDs.
3D NR(Noise Reduction)
• On : Select to reduce noise from the screen
• Off : Normal
