DECK HOUSING

Remove grass debris from the top and underside of the deck
housing immediately after use. It is particularly important to
keep the underside clean to preserve the mulching action and
prevent corrosion.
If grass debris has dried onto the deck housing, it should be
removed using a suitable brush. If necessary touch in any areas
of damaged paintwork with a suitable paint to prevent rusting.
IMPORTANT - PREVENT DAMAGE: DO NOT use high
pressure washing units to clean the mower.

SECURING NUTS AND BOLTS

Regularly check that all securing nuts and bolts are tight.
Replace missing or damaged items immediately.

LUBRICATION

Apply a good quality medium grease to the inner control cables
every 25 operating hours at the point of entry and exit from
their outer casings.
Clean the insides of the front drive wheels once a season.
Remove the hub caps, screws, washers and wheels. Remove
any debris from the gears and gear rings using a brush.
Reassemble the wheels.
Lubricate the driveshaft slide bearings at least once a season.
Set the mower at the minimum height of cut and remove the
transmission casing to gain access to the lubrication points.
Replace the transmission casing.
