You can delete the unwanted part of a picture and save the cropped
image as a separate image.

Enter the I-_ mode and use the four-way controller
( • _ ) to choose the image you want to crop.

Press the four-way controller (v).
The Playback Mode Palette appears.

use the four-way controller (• • • _) to select []
(Cropping).

Press the OK button.
The Cropping screen appears.
5 Choose the cropping conditions.
Zoom/[]/O, button
Changes the size of the
cropped section
Four-way controller (A • • I_)
Moves the cropping position up, down, left and right
Green button Rotates the cropping frame

Press the OK button.
The cropped image is saved with a new file name.
The cropped image is saved in the same quality as the original image.
