!9 PREAMP SWITCH [P.AMP] (p. 16)
Push to toggle between preamp-1 and preamp-2
or turn the preamp OFF.
@0 ATTENUATOR SWITCH [ATT] (p. 16)
Push to toggle the 20 dB attenuator function ON
and OFF.
@1 NOISE REDUCTION SWITCH [NR] (p. 20)
➥ Toggles the optional noise reduction function
ON and OFF when pushed. Functions in SSB,
CW and RTTY modes. An optional UT-106
is required.
UNIT
➥ Enters noise reduction level set mode when
pushed for 2 sec. An optional UT-106
required.
@2 AUTOMATIC NOTCH FILTER SWITCH [ANF]
(p. 20)
Push to turn the optional automatic notch filter for
receiving AM signals ON and OFF. An optional
UT-106
DSP UNIT
@3 NOISE BLANKER SWITCH [NB] (p. 15)
Toggles the noise blanker ON and OFF. The noise
blanker reduces pulse-type noise such as that
generated by automobile ignition systems. This
function is not effective for FM, or non pulse-type
noise.
