Using the Data Protector CLI
From the directory:
Windows: Data_Protector_home\bin
HP-UX, Solaris, and Linux: /opt/omni/bin/
Other UNIX: /usr/omni/bin/
run:
omnib -sap_list backup_specification_name [-barmode
SAP_mode][List_options]
where SAP_mode is one of the following:
full|incr
For details, see the omnib man page or the HP Data Protector command line interface
reference.
Example
To start a full backup using the SAP R/3 backup specification RONA, run:
omnib -sap_list RONA -barmode full
Using the SAP BRTOOLS

Log in to the SAP R/3 system as the Oracle OS user.
