Using the Data Protector CLI

Log in to the SAP R/3 system as the Oracle OS user. From the directory:
Windows: Data_Protector_home\bin
HP-UX, Solaris, and Linux: /opt/omni/lbin
Other UNIX : /usr/omni/bin/
run:
util_sap.exe -CHKCONF ORACLE_SID
where ORACLE_SID is the name of the Oracle instance.
A successful configuration check displays the message *RETVAL*0.
If you receive the message *RETVAL*error_number where error_number is
different than zero, an error occurred. On how to get the error description, see
"Handling
errors" on page 178.
