5. In the Configure SAP DB dialog box, specify the SAP DB independent program
path parameter. This parameter is the independent program path directory
specified during the installation of the SAP DB/MaxDB application. To
automatically detect the directory, leave the Auto-detect option selected.
Under Connection, type the username and password of the SAP DB/MaxDB
database user as described in

Click OK.
6. The SAP DB/MaxDB instance is configured. Exit the GUI or proceed with creating
the backup specification at
