SUSPENSION STRAP
SCREW (3)
1. Remove the engine cover (p.
2. Remove the suspension strap from
the water separator bracket.
3. Pinch the fuel tubes with tube clips
to prevent fuel leakage.
4. Remove the three screws and
separate the water separator cup
from the body.
FUEL TUBES
5. Thoroughly clean the water
separator cup.
6. Reassemble the water separator
body and the cup.
TIGHTENING TORQUE:
3.4 N·m (0.35 kgf·m , 2.5 lbf·ft)
7. Align the I mark on the
suspension strap as shown below
59 ). and install the water separator to
the bracket.
8. Squeeze and release the priming
bulb to fill the vapor separator, and
check for leaks.

If the buzzer sounds or water or
sediment accumulation are found to
be caused by excessive water or
sediment accumulation in the fuel
filter, inspect the fuel tank.
Clean the fuel tank and tank filter if
necessary. It may be necessary to
drain the fuel tank completely and
refill with fresh gasoline.
