Step 2: Chargingthe battery pack
You can charge the battery after attaching the
"hffoLITHIUM" battery pack (P series)
(p. 134) to your camcorder.
• You cannot use an NP-FP30 batte]y pack with
your camcorder. (See the rcxerse side of lhe
baltcry pack lbr the model number.)
tnslalling the battcl y pack will1 excess Jorce may
lead to camcorder mallhnction such as
deterioration in batlery pack perlbrmance or
difficulty in removing lhe baltery pack.

Slide the POWER switch in the
direction of the arrow to set it to
OFF (CHG) (The default setting).

O Connect the AC Adaptor to the DC
IN jack on your camcorder.
Open the jack coxer to connect the AC
Adaptor.
Match the • mark on
the DC plug with •
mark on your
camcorder.

/ Slide the battery pack in the
direction of the arrow until it clicks.

Connect the power cord to the AC
Adaptor and the wall outlet.
The CHG (charge) lamp lights up and
charging starls.
