Step 2: Chargingthe battery pack
You can charge tile battery after attaching the
"InfoLITHIUM" battery pack (P series)
(p. 133) to your camcorder.
• You cannot use an NP-FP30 battcry pack with
your camcorder. (See the rever_ side of the
battcry pack lor the lnodd number.)
Installing the battery pack with excess lbrce may
lead to camcorder mallhnction such as
delerioralion in battery pack pedbrmance or
dillicully in removing lhe baltely pack.

/ Slide the battery pack in the
direction of the arrow until it clicks.

/ Slide the POWER switch in the
direction of the arrow to set it to
OFF (CHG) (The default setting).
O Connect the AC Adaptor to the DC
IN jack on your camcorder.
Open the jack cover to connect the AC
Adapter.
Match the • mark
on the DO plug with
• mark on your
camcorder.

Connect the power cord to the AC
Adaptor and the wall outlet.
The CHG (charge) lamp lights up and
