Finalizing makes the recorded DVD compatible lur playback with DVD devices and DVD drives
of computers.
With Easy Handycam operation, your DVD Handycam sets up the fl)llowiug options
automaticNly. Therefore, you can finalize a disc easily.

• A DVD-R cannot be overwritten once you finalize it even when there is space to
be recorded.
• If you finalize a DVD-RW (VIDEO mode)/DVD+RW, you cannot record additional
material on the disc during Easy Handycam operation. Cancel Easy Handycam
operation, then follow the steps shown on page 61.
