N How to prevent moisture condensation
When you bring your camcorder from a cold
place into a warm place, put your camcorder
in a plastic bag and seal it tightly. Remove
the bag when the air temperature ittside the
plastic bag has reached the surrouttdiug
temperature
(al_er about one hour).
OntheLCDscreen
• Do not exerl excessB e pressure on the LCD
screen. Blurs appear and it may cause a
nlall/inction
of your
canlcorder,
• If your camcordcr is used in a cold place, a
rcsidtml image may appear on the LCD screen.
This is not a malflmction.
• While you are using your camcorder, the back of
the LCD screen may heat up. This is not a
mallhnction.
N To clean the LCB screen
If fittgerprints or dust make the LCD screen
dirty, use the cleaning cloth (supplied) to
clean the LCD screen.
When you use the LCD Cleatting Kit
(optional), do not apply the cleattittg liquid
directly to the LCD screen. Use cleaning
paper moistened with the liquid.
N Onadjustment of the LCDscreen
{CALIBRATION)
The buttons on the touch panel m:L_ trot work
correctly.

It is recommended
you
cotutect
your camcorder
to the wall outlet
using
the supplied
AC Adaptor
during
the
operatiott.
(_) Slide the POWER
switch
to turn on your
camcorder
and press I'E-I PLAY/EDIT.
@ Disconnect
cables other than that of the AC
Adaptor
from your camcorder,
then remove
the disc and "Memory
Stick Duo" from you r
camcorder.
@ Touch [E_g0]

on the screen with
a thin ohject such as a corner of 'Memory
Stick Duo".

of the "×" changes.

If you did not press
the right spot,
try the
calibration
again.
• Do not use a sharp-pointed
tool to calibrale the
LCD scrcen. Doing sit nmy damage the surlacc
of the screen.
• You cannot calibrate lhe LCD screen if you have
rotaled it, or if you have set il with lhe LCD screen
sMe liLcing (1111.
Onhandling the casing
• If llle casing is soiled, clean tile c, mcoMer body
wilh a soft clolh lightly moislened with waler, and
then wipe the c_sing with a d W soft cloth.
• Avoid the lollowing to avoid damage tit the finish.
Using chemicals such as thinner, benzine,
alcohoh chemical cloths, repellent, insecticide
and sunscrcen.
HmMling with above substances on your hands.
Leaving lhe cubing in contz_ct with rubber or
vinyl objecls Ibr a long period of lime.
