Viewing Closed Captions (On-Screen Text Messages) - Analog
The Analog Caption [unction operates when watching regular analog channels or when you have an analog extcmat component
(such as a VCR) connecled.
1• Press the MENU button to display the menu.
Press the A or v buttons to select "Setup", then press the ENTER_ button.
2, Press the A or v buttons to select "Caption", then press the ENTER_ button.
3• Press the ENTER_ button to select "Caption".
Press the _ or _ buttons to select "On", then press the ENTER_ button.

Press the ,*- or _ buttons to select "Caption Mode",
then press the ENTER_ button.
Press the .*- or _ buttons to select submenu (Default, CCt-CC4 or Textl-Text4)

Press the EXIT button to exit.

• CCl: The Primary Synchronous Caption Service. These are captions in the pnmary language
mat must Dem sync with the sound, preferably ma[cned to a suecific frame.
• CC2: The Special Non-Synchronous Use Captions
This channel carries data that is intended to augment inferrnauon camed m the program.
• CC3: Secondary Synchronous Capuon Service.
Alternate program-reia[ea captior oa[a, typically secona tanguage captions.
• CC4: Special Non-S!.nchronous Use Captions. Similar to CC2.
• Text1 : First Text Service. This ma.. De various non-program reia[ea aa[a.
• Text2: Second Text Service. Additional area. usually nol program relmea.
• Text3/Text4: Third and Fourth Text Services.
These data channels should De used ont, if Text1 and Text2 are not sufficient.
>- - The Caption feature doesn't work in COMPONENT(480p, 720p, tO8Oi), HDMI modes.
• The availability of captions depends on the program being broadcast.
