PresstheAUTOSETpadfor 3 hoursof
cleaningtime,press againfor 4 hours
and again if 2 hours of clean time is
desired.
CLEANING, C LEANandLOCKplus the
cleantime willappearin thedisplayand
theovenwilllock.
When the clean cycle is complete,
CLEANEDwillbedisplayed.LOCKwill
remainon until the oven has cooled
(approx.1 hour).
When the oven is cool,LOCKwillno
longer be displayed and the door may
be opened.
Wipeouttheoveninteriorwitha damp
cloth. If soilremains, it indicatesthe
cycle was not longenough.
To CancelSelf-CleanCycle:
1. PressCANCELpad.
2. If LOCK is NOT displayed,openoven
door.If LOCKisdisplayed, allow oven
to cool.
To DelaytheStartofa Self-Clean Cycle:
1. Followsteps 1-4above.
2. PresstheSTOPTIMEpad. STOPTIME
mustbeflashingto setthedesired stop
time.
3. As STOPTIME flashes, press the ap-
propriatenumber p ads toenter thetime
youwishtheoventostop.
4. DELAYCLNandLOCKwillbedisplayed.
5. Whenthedelay iscempletedandclean-
ing begins, C LEANING, CLEAN,LOCK
andthecleantimewillbe displayed.
To preventdamageto ovendoor,do
not attempt to open the oven door
when the LOCK indicator word is
displayed.
Duringcleaning,the kitchenshould
be well ventilatedto help eliminate
normalodorsassociated with clean-
ing. Odorswill lessenwith use.
It isnormalfor flare-ups,smokingor
flamingtooccurduringcleaningifthe
oven is heavily soiled. Clean the
oven regularlyratherthan wait until
there is a heavybuildupof soil.
Wipe up excess greaseor spillovers
to prevent flare-ups. For ease in
cleaning,the bake elementcan be
lifted slightly(1 to l_/2inehes).
Wipe up sugary and acid spillovers
such as sweet potatoes,tomatoor
milk-basedsauces prior to a self-
cleancycle. Porcelain enamelisacid
resistant, not acid proof and may
discolor if spills are not wiped up
beforea self-cleancycle.
A white discoloration may appear af-
ter cleaningif acid or sugary foods
are not wiped up before the clean
cycle. This discolorationis normal
and will NOTaffect performance.
