Clean only parts listed in this guide. Do
not cleandoor gasket.The gasket is es-
sentialfor a good seal. Do not rub, dam-
age,or move the gasket.
Donot useovencleaners.Nocommercial
ovencleaneror oven linerprotectivecoat-
ingofany kindshouldbe usedin or around
any part of the oven.
Before self-cleaning the oven, remove
broilerpan,oven racks and otherutensils
to preventexcessivesmoking, discolora-
tion of the ovenracksor possibledamage
to utensils.
Wipe up excessivespillovers, especially
greasyspills,beforethecleancycleto pre-
vent smoking,flare-upsor flaming.
It is normalfor the cooktopto becomehot
during a clean cycle. Therefore, avoid
touchingthecooktop, d oor,windowor oven
vent during a cleancycle.
HEATING

they are dark in color.Areasnear surface
