Aluminum foil tapes are used for Electro Magnetic Induction (EMI) shielding and for grounding the components. To avoid damaging the
hard drive, ensure that you affix the aluminum foil tapes after replacing the hard drive.

Aluminum foil tapes will be shipped with the new hard drive.
