AUTO DEFROST CHART
Meat Setting

BEEF Meat of irregular shape and large, fatty cuts of
meat should have the narrow or fatty areas
shielded with foil at the beginning of a defrost
sequence.
Ground Beef, MEAT Remove thawed portions with fork. Do not defrost less than 1/4 lb.
Bulk Turn over. Return remainder to oven. Freeze in doughnut shape.
Ground Beef, MEAT Separate and rearrange. Do not defrost less than 2 oz. patties.
Patties Depress center when freezing.
Round Steak MEAT Turn over. Cover warm areas with Place on a microwavable roasting rack.
