Interconnect yourVCR
with an extra RF cable (_).
To obtain better picture quality, also connect the Video, Audio left and Audio
right (only for stereo equipment) cables to the VIDEO, AUDIO L and AUDIO
R inputs of the A/V IN t or AN IN 2 sockets.
If yourVCR
has an S-VHS
video jack:
For improved picture quality, connect a S-video cable with the S-VIDEO input
on the receiver instead of connecting the VCR to the VIDEO jack of A/Vt
IN or A/V2 IN.
S-Video does not provide audio, so audio cables must still be connected to
provide sound.
When d video recorder is NOT conne_ed to VIDEO OUTyou can only record a
program from the aerial or from the cable system.
Only when a VCR is connected 1.oVIDEO OUTit _spossible to record a program from
other equipment connected to the receiven(See Record with your VCR,p. 27,)

Connect your camera or camcorder at the front side of your receiver (A/V4).

Connect the equipment to VIDEO (_) and AUDIO L (_) for mono
equipment.
For stereo equipment also connect AUDIO R (_).
S-VHS quality with an S-VHS camcorder is obtained by connecting the S-VHS
cables with the S-VHS input (_) and AUDIO inputs (_).
