VIEWING YOUR ROUTE

There are four different ways that you can view instructions along your way. Cycle through the
four navigation screens by simply pressing
The MAP BROWSER screen displays your route on a map which is always
oriented North.
The NAVIGATION MAP screen displays your route on map which is always
oriented in the direction in which you are travelling.
The NEXT INSTRUCTION screen is a simple graphical display showing the
direction and distance to your next turn.
The NEXT 4 INSTRUCTIONS screen displays a list of your next 4 turns, with the
street name, direction of turn and distance to go.
Note: These are the only four screens available for the driver to view while travelling. The
Driver Protection message will be displayed if you attempt to use any of the other functions
in this manual while driving. Refer to Section 6 Getting Started – Driver Protection for
more information.

Map Browser

This view is always oriented to the North, and shows your current position and surrounding
street names. If you have already programmed a route, the route and all turns are highlighted.

From the Main Menu, select MAP.

You can cancel your current route at any time. Return to the Main Menu by pressing
MENU/Power
and select CANCEL ROUTE.
