Care and cleaning of the range.

cleaning,use a sewing needle or twist-tie
to unclogthe smallhole in the burner

Caps and Heads
Beforeremoving the burner caps and heads,
remember their size and location.Replacethem in
the some locationafter cleaning.
NOTE: Donot usesteelwoolor scouring powders
to cleantheburnerparts.
Burner caps
Liftoff when cool.Wash burner caps in hot, soapy
water and rinse with clean water. Youmay scour
with a plastic scouring pad to remove burned-on
food particles.
Burner Heads and Oval (Centefl Burner
Head/Cap Assembly (onsomemodels)
Theburnerheadsand theovalburnerhead/cap
assemble ore removable. Simpl_j l ift them off the
rangefor cleaning.
Forproperignition,makesurethe smallhole
inthe sectionthat fits overthe electrode is kept
open.A sewingneedleor wiretwist-tieworks
wellto unclogit.
Theslitsin theburnerheadsmustbe keptcleonat
oil timesforon even, u nhampered flame.
Cloggedor dirty burnerportsor electrodes will not
allowthe burnerto operateproperly.
Anyspillon or aroundan electrodemustbe
carefullycleaned. T akecareto not hit an electrode
with anythinghard or it couldbe damaged.
Cleonthe burnerheedsroutinely,especially after
badspillovers, w hichcouldclogthe openings. L ift
off whencool.
Toremoveburned-onfood,soakthe burnerheads
in a solutionof mildliquiddetergentand hot water
for 20-30 minutes.Formorestubbornstains,usea
toothbrush.
After cleaning
Beforeputtingthe burnercaps,heads(onsome
models) a nd ovalhead/capassemblyback,shake
out excess water and then dry themthoroughly
by settingin a warm ovenfor 30 minutes.
Replacement
Replace burnerheadsoverthe electrodes on
the cooktop,andthen replacethe burnercaps
onto the burnerheads, i n the correctlocations
accordingto their size.
