How to Delay the Start of Cleaning
you can set the oven contro! to ddabl-start the
oven, clean for a specific length of time and
then turn off automatica!ly.
Hake sure the clock shows the correct time
of day.
Follow the directions in the Bdom a Clean
@cle section.

If gour model has a latch, latch the door.
NOTE:Never force the latch. If the oven is too
hot, you will not be able to slidethe latch.
Allow the oven to cool.

Touch the Self Clean pad.

Touch the + or - pads to set the
CleanTime.
TheClean Time is preset for 4 hours and
20 minutes. You can change the CleanTime to
any time between 3 and 5 hours, depending
on the amount of so!!in your oven. ff a
different Clean Time is desired,touch the + or -
pads unti! the desired CleanTime is displaged.

Touch the Sturt Time pad.
Change the Start Time by touching the + or -
pads. Thestart time wi!! appear in the displag.

Touch the Sturt/On pad.
The oven control will signal if you set the
clean cycle and forget to close the oven door
or forget to latch the door on models with
a latch.
On models without a door latch, the door
locks automatically. The display will show the
start time. It will not be possible to open the
oven door until the temperature drops below
the lock temperature and the Self Cleon light
goes off.
The self-clean cycle will automatically begin
at the time set.
While the oven is self-cleaning, you can touch
the Clock pad to display the time of day. To
return to the clean countdown, touch the
Self Cleon pad.
The oven shuts off automatically when the
clean cycle is complete, and 0:00 will flash
in the display.
I_] When the SelfCleun light is off, slide the
latch handle to the left as far as it will go
and open the door. If your range does
not have a latch, the door will unlock
automatically.
To Stop a Clean Cycle
Touch the Cleor/Offpad.
When the SelfCleun light goes off indicating
the oven has cooled below the locking
temperature, unlatch the door (on models
with a latch) and open the door.
After a Clean Cycle
You cannot set the oven for cooking until
the oven is cool enough for the door to be
unlatched.
You mag notice some white ash in the oven.
Wipe it up with a damp cloth after the
oven cools.
If white spots remain, remove them with a
soap-rilledscouring pad and rinse thoroughly
with a vinegar and water mixture.
These deposits are usually a salt residue that
cannot be removed by the clean cgcle.
If the oven is not clean after one clean cycle,
repeat the cycle.
You cannot set the oven for cooking until
the oven is cool enough for the door
to unlock.
Whilethe oven is self-cleaning,Sou can
touch the Clock pad to displag the time of
day. To return to the clean countdown, touch
the Cooking Time pad.
If the racks become hard to slide,applg a
small amount of vegetable oil or cooking oil
to a paper towel and wipe the edges of the
oven racks with the paper towel.
