Changing How Images Are Displayed
When using playback mode, you carl change how images are
displayed by rotating tile zoom control to W (_1_)and T (c().

• You can change the zoom ratio by rotating the zoom control to W (_;_) and T _
(c(). Images can be zoomed up to 10x.
• To view a different area of the image, press the multi selector A, V, _, or •. _
• If you are viewing an image that was captured using face detection (_ 76) or o
pet detection (_ 43), the camera zooms in on the face detected at the time of _-
shooting (except when viewing an image captured in a series). If the camera _.
detected multiple faces when the image was captured, press A, V, _, or • to
display a different face. To zoom in on an area of the image where there are no
faces, adjust the magnification rate and then press A, V, _, or •. o_
• You can crop the image and save the displayed area of the image as a separate _
file by pressing the MENU button.
• Press the _) button to return to full-frame playback mode. R-

• You can view severalimages on one screen,making it easyto find the image you want.
• You can change the number of thumbnails displayed by rotating the zoom
control to W (_;_) and T (c().
• Rotate the multi selector or press A, V, _, or • to select an image and then
press the _) button to display that image full-frame.
• When 72 thumbnails are displayed, rotate the zoom control to W (_;_) to
switch to calendar display.
• While using calendar display mode, rotate the multi selector, or press A, V, _,
or • to select a date and then press the _) button to display the first image
captured on that day.
