Taking Pictures for a Panorama
Tile camera
focuses
on tile subject
in tile center
of the flame.
Use a tripod
for best
results. When
the camera
is stabilized
with
a tripod,
set Vibration
reduction
([_160)
to Off in the setup
men u ([_152).

Use the multi
selector
to choose

Panorama
assist
from
the
scene
menu
and
press
the _)
button
([_[_]45).
• The D icon is displayed to show the direction in which
pictures will be joined.

Use the
multi
selector
to choose
the direction
and press
the
_)
button.
• Decide how pictures will bejoined
together in the
completed
panorama; right (D), left (_), up (_)
or
down (_).
• The yellow panorama direction icon (E)D) will move to
the direction pressed, so press the _) button to choose
the direction. A white panorama direction icon (D) will be displayed in the chosen
direction.
• Apply flash mode (_34),
self4imer ([_37),
focus mode ([_38)
and exposure
compensation
(_41)
settings with this step, if necessary.
• Press the _) button again to reselect the direction.

Shoot
the first
picture.
• The picture taken will be displayed in 1/3
ofthe monitor.

Shoot
the second
picture.
• Match the outline of the next picture so that
one third of the frame overlaps on to the
previous picture, and press the shutter release
button.
• Repeat until you have taken the necessary
number of pictures to complete
the image.
