5 Rotate the command dial to choose
an aperture value.
• Repeat steps 2 to 5 to modify shutter speed
and aperture settings until the desired
exposure is ac:hieved.

• At the default setting, the camera automatically selects
the focus area (one of nine) containing the subject
closest to the camera. When the subject is in focus, the
focus area (active focus area) glows green (maximum of
nine areas) (_90).
_1_ Notes on Shutter Speed
• When the ISO sensitivity (_84) is ISO 800, the slowest shutter speed is restricted to four seconds,
when ISO 1600, restricted to two seconds, and when ISO 3200, restricted to one second.
• When Multi-shot 16 is selected for the Continuous setting (_86), the slowest shutter speed is
restricted to 1/30 second,
_1_ Note on ISO Sensitivity
When ISO sensitivity (_84) is set to Auto (default setting), High ISO sensitivity auto, or Fixed
7_2 range auto, ISO sensitivity will be fixed at ISO 160.
