When the built in flash is lowered, the flash setting is fixed to offand _) appears at the top of the
monitor. In situations where flash is needed, such as in dark locations or when the subject is backlit,
be sure to raise the built in flash (_35).

• Focus mode (_38) and exposure compensation (_41) can be applied and pictures can be taken
using the flash mode (_34) and sel_timer (_37),
