Playback/Editing
You can enlarge and then clip the important part of the recorded picture.

Select [CROPPING]
on the [PLAYBACK]
Mode menu. (P55)

Press A/T
to select [SINGLE]
or [SINGLE IN BURST GROUP],
and then press
[MENU/SET].
• When [SINGLE IN BURST GROUP] is selected, press ,_.IVI_III_ to select Burst Picture
Group, and press [MENU/SET] to proceed to step 3.

Press "_/1_ to select the picture,
and then press [MENU/SET].

Use the rear dial and press •ITI_III_
to select the parts to be cropped.

Rear dial (left): Reduction

Press [MENU/SET].

Press • to select [YES] and then press [MENU/SET].
• Press [_] to return to the menu screen.
• Depending
on the cut size, the picture size of the cropped
picture
may become
smaller than
that of the original
picture.
• The picture quality
of the cropped
picture will deteriorate.
• It may not be possible
to crop pictures
recorded
with other equipment.
• The [CROPPING]
feature
is disabled
during the following
conditions:
- Motion pictures
-Pictures
stamped
with [TEXT STAMP]
-Pictures
taken with [RAWmI=],[RAW=.*.] or [RAW]
• Information
regarding
the Face Recognition
in the original
picture
will not be copied
to images
having
undergone
[CROPPING],
You can convert pictures taken with a [1_]
aspect ratio to a [1_!_1],a [Lq[_l]or a [nL'l] aspect ratio.

Select [ASPECT CONV.] on the [PLAYBACK]

Press •/T
to select [SINGLE] or [SINGLE IN BURST GROUP], and then press
[MENU/SET].

Press •/V
to select [1_!_1],[Lqik'l] or [Ira] and then press [MENU/SET].
• When [SINGLE IN BURST GROUP] is selected, press ,i.IVl_lll_
to select Burst Picture
Group, and press [MENU/SET] to proceed to step 4.

Press "_/1_ to select a picture
taken with [1_]
aspect ratio, and then press
[MENU/SET].

Press ,_/1_ to determine the horizontal position, and press
[MENU/SET]
to set.
• Use A/V to set the frame position for pictures rotated vertically.

Press • to select [YES] and then press [MENU/SET].
• Press [_] to return to the menu screen.
