SQUARING
THE MITER
TABLE TO THE
FENCE
See F/gums 21 - 24.
• UnpLug the saw.
• Push down on the saw arm and pull out the lock pinto
release the saw arm.
• Raise saw arm to its full raised position.
Loosenthe miter lock handle.
Rotate the miter table until the pointer is positioned
atO'.
Retightenthe miter lock handle.
Laya framing square fiat on the miter table. Place one
leg of the square againstthe fence. Place the other
leg of the square beside the throat plate In the miter
table. The edge of the square and the slot in the throat
plate in the miter table shouldbe parallelas shown in
figure 21,
If the edge of the framlng squareand the throat plate
in the miter table are not parallel as shown in itgures22
and 23, adjustments are needed.
Using the bladewrench, loosen the socket head
screws securingthe fence. Adjust the fence lefl or right
until the framing squareand throat plata am parallel.
Retigbtanthe screws securelyand recheck the fence-
to-table alignment before reinstallingthe slidingmiter
fence.
