The stop block is usefulas a stop for making repetitive
cuts to the same length. It can be instaltedon either side
of the saw base:
• Slide the stop block on the table extension.
• Adjust the stop block the desired distance from the
blade for the cut to be made.
• Tighten small wLngscrew to secure the stop block to
the table extension.
• Make a test cut in scrap material and measure the
length of the workpiece.
• Make any necessary adjusb_enta.

The work clamp providesgreater controlby clampingthe
workp_eceto the fence or the saw table. It also prevents
the workplece from creeping toward the saw blade, This Is
very helpfulwhen cutting compound miters.
Dependingon the cutting operation and the size of the
workpiece, it may be necessaryto use a C-clamp rnstead
of the work clamp to secure the workpiece priorto ma_ng
the cut.

WARNING: In s_me operations, the work clamp
assembly may interferewith the operation of the
blade guard assembly.Always make sure there Is no
interferencewith the blade guard pdor to beginning
any cutt(ncJ operat(on to reduce the dsk of sedous
personalinlury.
To Install the work clamp:
Place the shell of the work clamp In eitherhole on the
saw table base.
Rotate the knob on the work clamp to move it in or out
as needed or press the quick release lever tot faster
positioning.
