Troubleshooting
If you run into any problmns using your
camcorder, use tile following table to
troubleshoot the problem. If the problmn
persists, disconnect the power source and
contact your Sony dealer.

The power does not turn on.
• Attach a charged battery pack to the
camcorder (p. 22).
• The plug of the AC Adaptor has been
disconnected from the wall outlet (wall
socket). Connect it to the wall outlet (wall
socket) (p. 22).
The camcorder does not operate
even when the power is set to on.
• It takes a few seconds It)l }our camcorder
to bc ready to shoot after tile power is
turned on. This is not a malhmction.
• Disconnect the AC Adaptor from the wall
outlet iwall socket) or remove Ihe battery
pack, then reconnect it after about 1
minute. If the flmctions still do not work,
press Ihe RESET button lp. 140) using a
pointed object. (If you press the RESET
button, all settings, including the clock
setting, are reset.)
• The temperature of your camcorder is
extremely high. Turn off your camcorder
and leave it for a while in a cool place.
Buttons do not work.

all the menu items will be automatically set
to the default settings.
• During Easy Handycam operation, some
menu items are fixed as follox_s.
