disc menu/DVD menu.
• Loading of the data ma? have failed when
the disc was finalized. For the following
discs, make the disc capable of additional
recording (p. 80), then remake the disc
menu by finalizing the disc again (p. 75).
The disc meml/DVD menu may be
displayed correctly.
DVD+RW
DVD-RW recorded with HD (high
definition) image quality
DVD-RW (VIDEO mode) recorded with
SD (standard definition) image quality
Playback freezes for an instant
between the scenes.
• The image may frcczc for an instant
between scenes depending on the device
being used. This is not a malfimction.
• In case of DVD+R DL, the image may
freeze for an instant when the recording
layer changes. This is not a malfunction.
Playback does not move to the
previous scene when you press

automatically by your camcorder when

the previous scene. Select the desired scene

When you play back the disc on a
computer or other playback devices,
the sound balance of left and right
channels is not even.
• This may occur when sound recorded with

• When you play back the disc on a 2ch
stere() device, change the audio conversion
system (downmix system). For details,
refer to the instruction manual of the
playb ick device.
• When you create a disc using "Picture
Motion Browser," select 2ch fi)r the audio
setting.
• When recording movies, set ]AUDIO
MODE] to [2ch STEREO] on your
camcorder (p. 86).
You cannot play back the "Memory
Stick PRO Duo," or the "Memory
Stick PRO Duo" is not recognized.
• To play back the "Memory Stick PRO
Duo" with HD (high definition) image
quality, you need a device compatible with
AVCHD fimnat (p. 8,128)
