You cannot play back a disc.
• Check out the disc compatibility (p. 16).
• Insert a disc wilh the recording side facing
your camcorder (p. 30).
• The disc that was recorded, formatted, of
finalized on other devices may not be
played back on your camcorder.
• The temperature of your camcorder is
extremely high. Turn off your camcorder
and leave it lk)r a while in a cool place.
The playback image is distorted.
• Clean the disc using a soft cloth (p. 128).
Images stored on a "Memory Stick
PRO Duo" cannot be played back.
• Images cannot be played back if you have
modified files or folders_ or have edited the
data on a computer. (On the still image
playback screen, Ihe file name flashes in
that case.) This is not a malflmction
(p. 130).
• hnages recorded on other devices may not
be played back, or may be displayed in
wrong size. This is not a malfunction
(p. 130).
"F_I" is indicated on an image in the
VISUAL INDEX screen.
• Loading of the data may have huled. It may
be indicated correctly when you turn off
the power and then turn it on agaim or
repeat removing and inserting the
"Memo O Stick PRO Duo" a couple of
times.
• You disconnect the AC Adaptor or
removed the battery pack before the access
lamp ix turned off al'ler recording. This
may damage your image data and _[_" ix
displayed.
• This may appear on still images recorded
on other devices, edited on a computer, etc.
"I_" is indicated on an image in the
VISUAL INDEX screen.
• Execute [REPAIR IMG.DB F.] (p. 82). If it
still appears, delete the image with []
(p. 57).
No sound or only a quiet sound is
heard during playback.
• Turn up the x olume (p. 46).
• Sound is not output when the LCD screen
is closed. Open the LCD screen.
• When you record sound with [MICREF
LEVEL] (p. lIM) set to [LOW], the
recorded sound may be difficult to hear.
• Sounds cannot be recorded while recording
a 3 second-movie (:lppmx.) using [SMTH
SLW REC] (p. 42).
You cannot play back the disc, or the
disc is not recognized.
• To plly back a disc recorded _ilh HD
(high definition) image quality, you need a
device compatible with AVCHD format/ __
High Profile (1). 128). =-
