Photograph a solid-white
object.
® The plain,
white
object
should
fill the
center
spot metedng
circle.
® Set the lens focus
mode
switch
to
<MF>,
then
focus
manually.

® Shoot
the white
object
so that a
standard
exposure
(gray)is
obtained.
If it is underexposed
or overexposed,
a correct
wMte
balance
setting
might
not be obtained.
_y,,The Custom
WB data
will be
registered
in the camera.
When
it is
completed,
a message
will appear
on
the screen.
® To use the Custom
WB, see
"Selecting
and Shooting
with
the
Custom
WB data"
(p.67).
A Custom WB data can also be regJstereo as follows:
1. Press the <FUNC.> bu_ton and turn the <O>
dial to select <_e_>
(p.e3)
2. Then turn the < _r_. > dial to select the No. under which the Custom
WB is to be regls_eree.
3. Press the <;,;,_ > buttoh.
-÷ [ * ]wilI blink on the rear LCD panel.
4. Fellow step 4 above _o photograph
a solid-white
object.
