Protecting the image prevents it from being erased accidentally.
Protecting a Single mmage
Playback the image to be
protected.
_ Protect the image.
_ During image playback, press the
< c_.iL_> button.
_> When an image is protected, the
<B> icon will appear above the
image.
_ To cancel the image protection, press
the <o_iL_> button again. The <B>
icon will disappear.
_ To protect another image, repeat
steps I and 2.
_ To exit the image protection, press
the <MENU>
button. The menu will
reappear.
Protecting All mmages in a FoJder or Card
You can protect all the images in the folder or memory card at one time.
When the [3" Protect images] menu is set to [AH images in folder] or
[AH images on card], all the images in the folder or card will be
protected.
To cancel the image protection, select [Clear aII images in foIder] or
[CJear ati images on card].

_ To protect the image, press and let go of the <_-w_> button. Hold down
the button for about 2 sec. and the sound recording will start.
