Changing the File Name
Settings
® Operate the <O> dial or <,:_1_> to
move the _/and select the desired
character. Then press <:_> to enter
it.
® Enter the required number of
alphanumeric characters, then press
the <MENU>
button.

and the screen in step 2 will reappear.

When you se[ec-c the ..... + image size" registered with User se_ung2 and
laKe pictures, the image size character will be automatically appended as
the file name's fourth character from the left. The meaning of the file name
cnaracters {s as follows:
..... L" = L [JPEG Large), _ ..... M" = MI tJPEG Medium1
..... N" = M2 (JPEG Medium2) ..... S" = S (JPEG Small_ S_
When the image is transferred to a personal computer, ths automatical }"
appended fourth character wiil be included. You can then see the image size
without having to open the image. The image type (RAW. sRAW. JPEG) can
be distinguished with the extension.
