ARNING:The operation of any chippershredder
can result in foreign objects being thrown intothe
eyes,which candamage youreyes severely. Always
wear the safety glasses providedwith this unit or
eye shieldswhile operating or while performingany
adjustments or repairs.
Chipper
Chute
Allowstwigsand small branchesup to 1-1/2"in diameterto be fed into
the impellerfor chipping.See Figure9.
Drive Control
Locatedon the undersideof the upperhandle,the drivecontrolis used
to engage/disengage wheels.Fullysqueezethe drivecontrolagainst
the upperhandleto engagethe wheels;releaseto disengage.(DO
NOTslip clutch).
Speed
Control
Locatedon the left sideof the upperhandle,the speedcontrolis used
to selectthe forwardspeedof the yardvacuum.
IMPORTANT: Movethespeedcontrolonly whenthe engineis running.
Changingthe speedcontrolsettingwith theengineoff can damagethe
yard vacuum.
Nozzle Height

Usedto adjustthe nozzlegroundclearancerangingapproximately
from 5/8" to 4 1/8".SeeFigure9.
Throttle
Control
This levercontrolsthe enginespeedand stop function.Throughthree
separatepositionson the leverfrom left to right, the operationis as
follows:

Slow/Idle
