To safely remove the dozer blade:
- Lower the blade to the ground in the center (straight) position.
- Remove various hairpin cotters, flat washers, clevis pins, lift rod trunnions, and hex nuts from the lift arm link, channel assembly, lift assembly arms, lift pivot plates, and handle guide to detach the blade from the tractor.
- Re-install any tractor components (like suspension arms and up stop bracket) that were removed, referring to the tractor owner's manual for re-installation and mowing deck leveling.
- Save all loose parts and hardware for re-assembly.
To reattach the dozer blade to the tractor:
- Prepare the tractor by removing other attachments and necessary tractor components.
- Attach the channel assembly to the hitch plates at the front of the tractor, ensuring the stop bolt is adjusted for clearance.
- Assemble the frame brackets and lift pivot plates to the tractor.
- Connect the lift arm link and trunnions to the channel rod, lift pivot plates, and lift assembly arms.
- Attach the support bracket and guide bracket assembly to the tractor frame and hitch plate, respectively.
