Jams in the Multi-Purpose
Tray
Use this procedure if the recording paper jams or misfeeds in the multi-purpose
tray. If this
happens, the message CLEAR PAPER JAM appears in the display.
1.
Close the document trayif necessary.
2.
Gently pull any jammed paper out of the unit as shown.
3.
Remove the paper stack from the multi-purpose
tray and reload it.
Make sure you push the paper to the back and right of the multi-purpose
tray, and that
the stack is not higher than the paper limit mark ( _ ).
