Caution Risk of Injury!
Before measuring and setting turn the main switch off.
Measuring the ellipse width
–
Insert a straight, undamaged needle.
–
Screw in the clamping bush 2 and insert dial gauge 1
(Order no. 0196 002972).
–
Through turning the handwheel bring the hook shaft into its lowest
position. Set the value "0" on the gauge.
–
Through turning the handwheel bring the hook shaft into its
highest position. The difference must agree with the previously
calculated ellipse width.
Setting the ellipse width
Push the rocker bolt in the hook housing axially.
The ellipse width changes by only half of the amount by which the
position of the rocker bolt is altered!
Example: Sliding the rocker bolt 0.2 mm changes the ellipse width
by 0.1 mm.
To the right:
The ellipse width becomes smaller
To the left:
The ellipse width becomes larger
–
Screw out screw 3 and drain the oil from the hook housing. (For
this set the machine upright.)
–
Remove lid 4 and screw the M4 screw into the face of the rocker
bolt 5.
–
Loosen screw 6 and slide the rocker bolt by pushing or pulling on
the M4 screw appropriately.
