Setting of the Intercept Buffer

The intercept buffer 2 prevents the pressure feet not laying directly
onto the needle plate.
The clearance between the needle plate and pressure feet should,
depending on material thickness, be 0,2 - 0,8 mm.
The base setting is 0.2 mm.
Caution Risk of Injury!
Before adjusting turn the main switch off.

Turn the handwheel until the pressure feet are at the same height.

Check to see if there is a forceful transport of the material.

Loosen lock nut 1 and adjust the intercept buffer appropriately.
