Setting the Hook Drive Housing

The needle point should point to the middle of the hook shaft. The
lower edge of the hook shaft runs parallel to the underside of the
needle plate.
The clearance from the upper edge of the needle plate seat to the
lower edge of the hook shaft is 53 mm.
Caution Risk of Injury!
Before adjusting turn the main switch off.

Remove the needle plate, thread trimmer, needle guard and hook
with hook carrier.

Screw gauge 2 onto the needle plate seat.
–
Press the hook shaft onto the gauge and screw the hook housing
fast.
–
Remount the other parts removed.
Attention!
During mounting the setting information in these service instructions
are to be observed.
