1.6 Consumables

1.6.1 BJ cartridge (Black, Color, Photo)

The consumable black BJ cartridge (BC-23 and BC-20 [reference]), color BJ cartridge
(BC-21e), and photo BJ cartridge (BC-22e) available in the market are identical to
those supplied with the printer. Only their packages are different.

1.6.2 Ink cartridge (BC-21e Color BJ Cartridge only)

The two types of consumable ink cartridges available in the market are the black ink
cartridge and color ink cartridge. They are identical to those mounted in the color BJ
cartridge (BC-21e). Either cartridge can be used for half a year after the seal is
opened. The number of sheets that can be printed are as follows.
Black ink cartridge: Approx. 225 sheets (Standard mode) (1500-character standard
text pattern)
Color ink cartridge: Approx. 100 sheets (Standard mode) (7.5% duty per color pattern)
