Introduction
In order to maintain the Island Clean Air Duster 3000FC air filtration systems, several consumable
items are needed. There are two different types of filters for the Duster 3000FC system, those that
filter particulate matter and those that filter chemical emissions. These filters are described
below.

Dust Pad is a coarse pre-filter that is designed to

trap and hold large dust and particulate matter as it is
initially drawn into the system. This pre-filter is com-
prised of a coarse media that can be cleaned several
times but that does deteriorate over time and requires
replacement 1 to 2 times per year on average. The
Dust Pad can be shaken, blown with compressed air
from the inside or vacuumed from the outside, in or-
der to clean it. This filter requires replacement only
when it loses its physical form (in the retaining frame)
and is no longer self-supporting.
