System key

Used to control the operating mode of the Performance PRO T4000 Series thermostats.
The options available for the System display are specifi ed in the Service Menus (see
"Performance PRO T4000 Series Installation Guide").
System modes are:
HEAT – Select for the system to operate in heating mode only. Only one setpoint is
displayed.
COOL - Select for system to operate in cooling mode only. Only one setpoint is displayed.
AUTO – Allows system to control to both the heat and cool setpoints. The system will
automatically change over between heating and cooling modes as room temperature
varies. Cool Setpoint must always be greater than Heat Setpoint by the deadband
value.
OFF – Disables all thermostat outputs; only zone temperature and time are displayed.
Note: Deadband is the user-defi ned minimum difference between the Cool Setpoint and
Heat Setpoint (see Service Menu 380).
