About Your Direct-Line Console
7-Line Display Home Screen
Line 1 shows calling information.
When you are not on the telephone, Line 1 is blank.
However, if you are using a Posted Message to alert
others with display telephones, the message-you
selected appears as a reminder. For more information
on Posted Message, see Chapter 4.
When you are receiving a call, or when a call you
transferred is returning to you, you see where the call
originated (the name or extension for inside calls, or
the line the call is on for outside calls).
