Node descriptors are not shown for Mi10K in DCFM when a Fabric
OS switch is used as seed switch.
HP StorageWorks 8/24 SAN Switch is not responding to Link Reset
primitives correctly (may send OLS and/or Link Reset).
Rekey operations get stuck and progress halts.
User sees a name difference between DCFM and Web Tools due to
a switch name not correctly updated at fabricinfo.html.
Tape repositioning may be incorrect due to FICON fcip block count
mismatch on read emulation when split status responses received to
backspace block commands.
LUN gets stuck in the Internal EE LUN State, and is not available for
the host until the DiscoverLUN is issued.
When attempting to move ports from DCFM, some may be moved,
while others fail.
Fabric OS 6.2.0e fixes
The following table lists defects closed in the Fabric OS 6.2.0e firmware release.
Table 13 Fabric OS 6.2.0e closed defects
Closed defect summary
With tape pipelining, FCR Frames can be dropped by the switch due
to specific connectivity issue resulting from losing original source ID in
the REC command. The supportsave command may panic occasion-
ally when Fibre Channel FastWrite (FCFW) is not enabled on the GE
port.
VEX port receives bad SFID and frame cannot be routed to translate
domain due to continuous RTWR retries from backbone fabric where
fabricshow is missing IP address.
E-Port Class Link Resets are not fencing. RASLOG message will be
presented indicating link resets are above threshold, but the port will
not have been fenced as expected.
RNID data reporting same serial number for two different logical
switches in FICON environment, as user entered FRU number via CLI
is not being modified.
Detected termination of process fabricd:4120 followed by software
verify errors due to HP StorageWorks DC SAN Director being unre-
sponsive.
Partitioned HP StorageWorks DC04 Director in FICON environment
panicked after reset allegiance issued by multiple hosts, leading to
FICUD terminating and switch reboot.
SNMPd panics and generates a core file that can fill up the root file
system. User will observe snmpd process being killed and Detected
termination of process error message.
