When Top Talkers is enabled with frame redirection, HP StorageWorks
DC SAN Director can crash causing data encryption backup to fail.
Stable working encryption group experienced a split after successful
I/O test run, and encryption group leader got a comm error.
Encryption group does not automatically recover after encountering a
split group condition.
When performing first time encryption to a LUN with more than one
initiator active at the same time, rekey operations slow significantly,
causing host applications to experience delays in the completion of
I/O requests.
Software verify errors and IFCCs occurred during supportsave on
HP StorageWorks DC SAN Director and on HP StorageWorks DC04
SAN Director
Chassisinfo is not provided with snmpv1 without adding and configur-
ing an snmpv3 user. The first 6 objects in the system MIB are missing,
corresponding to the Error: no such object entries in the Hi-
Track system table.
VIs/VTs may disappear when rebooting the HP StorageWorks Encryp-
tion SAN Switch that has all physical connections to targets and initi-
ators.
Repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting ISL links between the HP
StorageWorks Encryption SAN Switch in an HA cluster environment
while rekey operations are in progress may cause data miscompare.
Internal recovery scheme can attempt to correct a valid Frame Redirec-
tion RAM Filter, which can lead to one existing filter being corrupted,
potentially causing misrouted frames. This is a very rare occurrence.
Running configdefault may cause kernel panic on an HP Storage-
Works 4/256 SAN Director.
An unexpected switch panic can occur when supportsave reads
invalid data on GE ports without FC Fast Write enabled.
FICON XRC times out on a 400 MP Router to an HP DC SAN Director,
which causes drives not to come online.
Need support in Fabric OS for DWDM-SFP media.
HP StorageWorks 8/40 SAN Switch did not indicate a warning when
a PS/FAN FRU was removed.
High temperature alerts are reported on an HP StorageWorks DC
Switch Encryption Blade when the ambient temperature is 39
