INDUSTRY LEADING TRANSFERRED IMAGE QUALITY
Konica Minolta has achieved an industry-leading transferred image quality
and a transfer system that is not highly dependent on paper quality. Paper
feed performance is also smoother and the transfer system life is 2 times that
of previous models.
There are several mechanisms that have been put in place to achieve these
technological advancements
1. A longer transfer belt has been used to reduce the total number
of revolutions per copy, which improves durability. Strength of the
transfer belt has also been improved by increasing the thickness of the
functional coating applied to the surface of the belt.
2. A more static-eliminating needle has been used, which doesn't contact
the paper. This system eliminates the wear and extends the life
of the static eliminator.
3. Support for custom paper in addition to standard paper types (Plain,
Thick 1/2/3) to allow transfer voltage and fi xing temperature to be set
individually based on the paper types that are most frequently used
by the customer.
4. A constant pressure mechanism has been used for secondary transfer
roller which eliminated the need for preliminary rotation (margin) where
the roller presses down or releases and extends product life.

5. Image quality is further enhanced by improved surface resistivity
and improved secondary transfer date.
