How to set up the appliance
Caution: This DNS cannot be the same internal DNS that you use to direct your
IM clients to the Scanner. If it is, a loopback condition occurs where IM
messages are directed back to the Scanner instead of to the Internet.
Table 3-1 lists the public IM network server names that this DNS must be able
to resolve.

Configuring your network to include the new appliance
Initialize your new appliance
Setting up a Control Center with optional Scanner
