To enable IM filtering, you must configure your firewall to allow port connections
from your IM-filtering Scanner to the public IM network servers that you use.
Port connections to these servers from all other servers within your corporate
network should be blocked.
Table 2-2
lists the ports for which you must configure your firewall to allow
outbound connections to the Internet.
